CAS Events and Student's Activities
The College of Arts and Sciences also take part in Community Extension Program
(PARTNERSHIP, FELLOWSHIP, STEWARDSHIP) in :
Ransohan (in Brgy. Barra Lucena City)
Students, enthusiastically participate in the coastal clean up in Brgy. Barra with the cooperation of the CAS professors that imparts knowledge to some grade school pupils in the said place.
Alabat Quezon
Apprentices actively participate in the outreach program for the AETA community in Alabat Quezon. Some CAS students especially those students who are taking Environmental Science and their professor voluntarily partake their time helping the AETA community.

Acquaintance Party ( Study hard, party harder)
College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) celebrated their annual Acquaintance Party held at the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF), University covered court, Lucena City last July 2012.
The oath taking of Batch 2012 College of Arts and Sciences Council of Officers (CASCO) was held at the acquaintance party lead by the CASCO Chairperson Adrian Catapat, fourth year mass communication student with his officers. They are the ones who made this party possible.
It was attended by the dean of the CAS, Dr. Claudia Odette Ayala and the faculty members. And also attended of course of the students especially the freshmen.
There were intermissions like the dance number of the ARS Dance Troupe, band intermission number from the third year and fourth year students that started the party. All the students danced like there is no tomorrow. Energy was everywhere in that court.
The students are very gorgeous with their outfits. They enjoyed the night with the CAS family.

My Teacher, My hero ( A teacher's day celebration)
The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called "truth." -Dan Rather.
Last october 2, 2012, the teacher’s day was held beside the AEC Little theatre. It was attended by the students and of course all the teachers of College of Arts and Sciences.
There were games that were joined by the beloved professors and intermission numbers from the CAS students.
Tokens were given to the professors like the cake and a frame with their picture. They appreciated the effort of the students lead by the CASCO officers.
This event is a way of thanking our teachers in all their efforts on all the students they are handling. They teach us not only skills but they also teach us good values. The experience with them is so unforgettable. They are our key to success.

Icon I Can Screenbit
An Icon walk the talk, his contribution and great impact to the people. Mass Communication students of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation held its ICON I CAN Screenbit at AEC little theater last September 27, 2012. The mass communication showcases their documentaries which features different stories of life. The highligh of the programme is the ICCS gold 1st places documentary entitled BOLUNTIR:
The audience are narked with thoughts and message. The screenbit aims not just to tell the stories moreover to impart whats happening in reality and wat actions can we make.

English Festival
This annually event, the "English Festival" and right now it consist cosplay competition, essay writing, oration, Poetry Writing/reading , Quiz Bee, Spelling Contest and Choral Reading. Different colleges from the University actively participates in the said event. This event is organized by the College or Arts and Sciences Faculty and students.

Fourth Year Mass Communication Student
CASCO- or the College of Arts and Sciences Council of Officers is the student body in the College of Arts and Sciences. They are the one who spearhead the activities and other engagements in the department.
The CASCO includes the following events in which the College celebrates and brings to life the succeeding activities yearly:
1. Acquaintance Party - Different departments of The College of Arts and Sciences rejoices altogether through colorful outfits, hard rock bands , powerful singers and talented performers (dancers) . This proves that this one great event should be never missed .
2. Cas Sports-Try outs Students in this College participates and rehearses for their preferred sport like badminton, chess, volleyball, swimming, basketball , and table tennis.
3. Intrams The competing day for all of the departments as well as all colleges in the university. It comprises of the cheerdance competition, dancesport , sports game and the anticipated Mutya ng Palaro yearly.
4. Teacher’s Day -One of the most important event in the College. Means of expressing our gratitude towards the ever loving professors of CAS in imparting their knowledge to the students.
5. Christmas Party CAS students eagerly waits for this event.
6. Foundation Week – This helds the most awaited search for Ms. MSEUF.
7. Toast to the Graduates – The Graduates yearly celebrates success from the outcome of their hardships.

Artistic Rhythm and Style Dance Troupe (ARS)
"Dance to express, not to impress". That statement speaks to what the ARS Dance troupe is all about, The College of Arts and Sciences dancing ambassadors. The group was founded a year ago with the guidance of the adviser, Ms. Beverlie Garcia. ARS Dance troupe is composed of different students from the department, most of them are dancers since high school and some of them are newbies who just wanted to dance and express their inner thoughts thru dancing. They are the representatives to the different university contests such as the yearly Cheer dance Competition, and the Cultural competition every Founding Anniversary celebration. ARS dance troupe is truly the department's pride who keeps on dancing not to impress, but to inspire others and to share their God given talents.
Enverga Up Close (TV SHOW)
Enverga Up close is the first ever Magazine Show in Quezon province. The fourth year Mass Communication is handling the this production as a requirement for their TV production subject. This kind of activity is a training ground for the Mass Communication Students and will give an experience for them that they will use in their future jobs.
